Becoming A Girly Girl:
Lately I've Been On This Self Healing Journey, Taking More Time For Myself, Making Sure I Give Myself The Care I Need And Deserve. I'm Leaning To Love Me And Who I Was Created To Be. It's The Best Feeling. I Figured With This Blog Post I Would Tell You About The Things That Have Helped Me Become The Girly Girl I Have Always Wanted To Be. I Have Created A Whole System That Helps Me Stay On Track But The One Thing That I Cannot Stress Enough Is: Consistency! It Is The True Key.
Now I'm Going To Give You A Short List Of things that Have Helped Me Feel Better In The Last Few Weeks. First Off, Eliminating Soda, Drink More Water, Even If You Have To Flavor It. Just Start, It Gets Easier, I Promise. Second Off, Limiting My Bread Intake, It's Rough Because I've Always Been A Bread Lover But It's Getting Easier By The Day, I Usually Tell Myself That I Can Have Bread Once Every 2 Or 3 Days. Lastly, Adding Something Green To My Plate, For Pretty Much Every Meal. Whether It's Avocado, Broccoli, Green Beans, Etc. Add Something Green, Trust Me, It Makes A Tremendous Difference. It Actually Gives You Energy And Helps You Finish The Day Strong. I As Well Take Some Medications. A Couple For Personal Reasons, But I'm Currently Looking For A Good Multi Vitamin And I'm Going To Start Taking Be Pollen As Well, For My Infertility Struggles. Next I Have Created Myself A Schedule To Go By. The Goal Is To Follow Said Schedule For 15 Days Which Is About The Extent Of Time That We Have Until We Leave For Our Florida Vacation So By That Time, It Will Be A Habit. My New Schedule Goes Something Like This:
07:30 a.m: Wakey, Wakey
07:40 a.m: Take My Medicine And Get Dressed For The Day
07:45 a.m: Pack Zack's Breakfast And Lunch For The Day
07:50-08:00 a.m: See Zack Off To Work
08:00-08:45 a.m: Free Time (Watch T.V.)
08:45 a.m: Make My Morning Coffee
09:15 a.m: Make And Have My Breakfast And Enjoy My Coffee
10:15 a.m: Do The Daily Load Of Dishes, Start My Audio Book.
10:50 a.m: Pick Up The House, And Light The Candles And Wax Warmer
11:30:Take Care Of All The Animals(I.E: Feed, Water)
12:00 p.m: Free Time (Listen To My Audio Book, Or Watch T.V.)
2:30 p.m: Make Our Bed And Pick Up Our Bedroom For The Day
3:10 p.m: Lay Out Our Clothes For The Next Day.
3:40p.m: Turn Some Music On And Get My Nightly Shower Stuff Ready.
4:00p.m: Rest Until Zack Gets Home From Work, Write My Daily Blog
5:45p.m: Start Working On Supper And Put Clean Dishes Away.
6:20p.m: Zack Gets Home
6:46p.m: Eat Dinner And Talk About Our Day.
7:20p.m: Nightly Shower And Self Care Time
8:40p.m: Time For Gaming With Zack.
9:45-10:30p.m: It's Time For Bed.
It Has Actually Worked Out Very Well Really. Pretty Simple And Easy To Stick Too. My Favorite Part Of The Whole Day Is Shower Time Of Course. I Love Doing Skin Care And Hair Care. It Makes Me Feel So Good, And Honestly Brings Out the Girly Side Of Me As Well. I Keep My Nails Done, And Change Them Out Every 2 Weeks. Fingers And Toes As Well. The Only Parts Of Being A Girly Girl Right Now That I Struggle With Is My Makeup Application. I Am Learning Though And I've Found Out That I Like The Less Is More Approach, And My Hairstyling Ability. I've Always Been A Messy Bun Type Of Girl But I Don't Want To Be That Kind Of Girl Anymore, I Wanna Learn All The Cute Hairstyles. I Love Pampering Myself, It Is The Greatest. Totally Worth It In My Opinion.
